I try to stick to an evening routine as much as possible. I am someone that thrives through a routine, so what I’m about to share is something I try to do every evening, but of course, situations change. Sometimes I might be out all day, other times I haven’t done much during the day. Regardless, I still wanted to share my current evening routine with you all.
For me, my evening routine starts with having dinner. This normally happens between around 5pm-6pm. I then like to head back up to my room and continue with work until about 7pm. This work could be university work, blog work, or other miscellaneous things.

I always find it important to make sure I stop working at 7pm or around that time. Sometimes it may be later but I always make sure I at least have some me time in my evening routine. It’s a chance to wind down and get rid of any stress picked up in the day.
That winding down starts with a bath or a shower. If I’m feeling extra stressed, I like to add a bath bomb or something along those lines as I feel it helps me with that extra sense of relaxation. I may even add some candles too.

Once I’ve had a bath or a shower, I will then sit down and fill out my Bullet Journal. This includes filling out my trackers and planning for the next day. If I have university the next day, I will also sort out my expandable folder and make sure I have the necessary documents for the next day. I will also pack my bag too although that’s not exactly happening much at the moment.
After everything is sorted, I will get my journal out and journal about my day. Sometimes this can be pages and pages of words and other times it might be 1 or 2 lines. It all depends on what’s happened and how I’m feeling. If you would like a detailed journaling routine, feel free to let me know.
I then like to sit down and watch something. This can be a film, a tv show, or a football game but the majority of the time I find something to watch on Netflix. I keep a journal about all the things I’ve read and watched, so I always make sure to watch something every day, even if it’s just part of an episode or a film.

I normally watch something until approximately 10:30pm. After that, I will climb into bed and read something on my kindle until I feel sleepy.
