January Round-up – TV, Films, Books

Welcome to another new monthly series!

This year, I decided to switch up my reading journal and add TV, Films, and Music to the journal. I still don’t have a name for it as of yet so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to share them in the comments below. Because of this new journal, I have decided to share what I have been consuming this month. I have been giving each of them a rating and that’s what I’ll be sharing today.

First things first, I’ll be sharing how the ranking system works:

  • * – Not good at all.
  • ** – Meh.
  • *** – Okay.
  • **** – Good.
  • ***** – Excellent.

With that out of the way, let’s get started!

Schitt’s Creek

My rating: ****

Hostage by Claire Mackintosh

My rating: *****

Hot Fuzz

My rating: *****

The Ripper

My rating: ****

Fear Street Part 1 1994

My rating: ****

Vanish Without Trace by Bill Kitson

My rating: *****

Scream 2022

My rating: ****

That’s everything I consumed in January. In terms of my favourite, I would have to say Hostage by Claire Mackintosh was really really good. I really enjoyed Scream and it’s probably my second or third favourite in the franchise but nothing can top the original. The original is one of my favourite horror films of all time so it would take something spectacular to beat that.

Thank you for reading!

Beth
