A Minimalistic March Bullet Journal Setup

I fell out of love with Bullet Journaling last month. I don’t really know why. Maybe I was getting bored of using more or less the same layouts each month; maybe I was finding it too much at times, or maybe I realised it doesn’t work for me.

This month, I have decided to really switch things up. I have gone for pretty much as minimalistic as you can get, with an elongated cursive font and a simple leaf doodle here and there. If you’ve followed me for a while, you will come to see that I have actually missed out on quite a few spreads that I would normally include.

Anyway, one long introduction later. Let’s get to it.

Cover Page

I feel like this cover page is the most simplistic spread I have ever done. I went for a simple loof doodle just off centre and used a green pen just to add a little bit of colour. I then used a simple cursive font to write out March in the 0.05 Sakura Pigma Micron. It is very simple and sincere but I really like that.

Monthly Spread

Last month, I mentioned the calendar layout was essentially my ride or die when it comes to a monthly spread…

About that…

Without sounding silly, I felt like I actually didn’t have enough space in my calendar layout to write out my events. I use my monthly spread to document what lectures and seminars I have and there just wasn’t enough room. I decided to do a vertical spread, but I am giving 2 lines per day to give me more room. Hopefully, this works out well for me!

Habit and Mood Trackers

I am someone who really likes the individual habit tracker layout. However, I was getting a little bored with the layout. I have seen this layout a couple of times on Instagram and Pinterest, and I really liked the look of it so I decided to try it for myself.

As for my mood tracker, I decided to go back to the graph layout as I really like the simplicity of it and I do like it when it’s finished. I’m looking forward to using it this month.

Sleep and Expenses Trackers

For my sleep tracker, I decided to go back to the layout that tracks the number of hours I’m sleeping each night, as opposed to the visual representation of the time I go to sleep and wake up. Both of these layouts work really well for me, but I do like to switch it up from time to time.

As for my expenses tracker, it’s more or less the same as it was in January and February. However, you may have noticed that I took out the category column as I didn’t find much use for that. I have still kept the want or need column though as I do find that useful to have!

Gratitude and Reasons to be Proud

Of course, my gratitude log remains the same as it does every month. It is always my favourite spread to fill out every day and I love how simple this month’s page is.

If you didn’t follow my previous blog, you might not be aware of a page I used to have which was a reasons to be proud spread. This is a spread that I fill out every day with something I should be proud of. I don’t always include it every month as I sometimes find it too repetitive with what I’m proud of. I haven’t used it since November or December last year though so I figured it was a good time to bring it back!

Brain Dump

I always include a double page for my brain dump. I find it really useful to just have that page where I can dump anything down. I have included shopping lists on here, videos to watch and how I want to lay out my future spreads for the next month!

And that’s it! Thank you very much for reading!
