11 of My Favourite Phone Apps

Most people are on their phones a lot. Some end up using the same apps repeatedly. Others will have their favourites. Today’s post is all about my favourite phone apps. I probably use these apps every day or at least every other day. Some have become really important to me which I know sounds strange considering they’re just phone apps. Hopefully, you will see why.

1SE

1SE stands for One Second Everyday. If you haven’t heard of this app before, it allows you to take a one-second video/photo every day for a year. Once you are finished, it edits these videos altogether chronologically, creating a video of your year for you to enjoy.

To Do

This is a great app for keeping digital to-do lists. I use this mainly for shopping lists but it can also be used for daily to-do lists too. It’s really simple and easy to use too!

VSCO

This is my go-to editing app for photos. I love the filters on here!

Instagram

Instagram is one of my favourite social media apps. Not only do I use it for posting my journal spreads, but I also use it to document my law journey!

Canva

Canva is the app I use to create Pinterest pins, featured images on my blog, Instagram posts, Instagram stories, etc. It is really easy to use which I like.

Duolingo

I have used Duolingo since I was in year 10 and taking a GCSE in French. Back then, I used it for revision purposes when studying for my french exams. I now use it to learn Welsh as I live in Wales and I would love to become fluent. This is certainly helping me!

Forest

I had seen Forest on so many videos and posts before I eventually downloaded it myself. Forest is an app dedicated to focusing. The premise of the app is planting trees in a forest. You set a timer, and the plant/tree grows. What I like about this app though, is if you kill the app or come off the app to check a notification, the tree dies. For every tree you grow, you get coins on the app which can be used to either get different tree designs or plant a real tree in the world which I think is really lovely.

Goodreads

Goodreads is an app that allows you to create reading lists, track your reading, take part in reading challenges, get book recommendations and leave reviews and ratings for books. I really enjoy using Goodreads and I definitely think it has helped with encouraging me to read a lot more.

Linked In

Linked In is something I would recommend any university student get. It is a brilliant site to network with many people which can be so beneficial for you in the future. Linked In is actually how I discovered Aspiring Solicitors who have been extremely helpful for me in terms of reaching my goal of becoming a solicitor.

WordPress

I feel like this one is rather obvious…

Twitter

I love using Twitter. It’s up there with Instagram as one of my favourite social media apps. I’ve had it for years now and the amount of friends I’ve made because of Twitter is wonderful.

Thank you for reading! I’d love to know what your favourite phone apps are! Let me know!
