10 Things You May Not Know About Me

Welcome to another blog post! I hope you are all well. Today’s blog post is all about sharing 10 things that you may not know about me. I have seen a few people do this sort of blog post before so let’s get to it!

1 – I have over 100 sets of wash tape

Yes, I know this is a lot. In my defence, I have collected a lot of these over a significant period. I don’t use washi tape that often so it doesn’t run out very quickly. Once you add that to the whole ‘ooh, pretty design! I must have it’, the collection ends up growing rather quickly.

2 – I have been to 3 different universities

If you followed my previous blog, then you are probably already aware of this. But yes, I have been to 3 different universities, including the one I am currently at. This has been because of my mental health. I went to the first university in 2019 and dropped out completely and then in 2021, I transferred from my previous university to be at the university I am currently at now.

3 – I would love to have my own horse some day

Ever since I moved to North Wales, I have developed this wish of having my own horse. At the back of my garden, there is a big field with 3 horses and they are absolutely gorgeous. That’s definitely where the thought has stemmed from!

4 – This isn’t my first blog

To be fair, I have hinted about this previously in several blog posts. I kept my previous blog, A Lovely Cup of Life, for about 4 years. The reason why I decided to create a new one is simply for a fresh start. I’m glad I made that decision.

5 – I had singing lessons when I was younger

Yep. When I was 15 years old, I had singing lessons every week for a few months. I really enjoyed them and if I’m honest, I can’t remember why I stopped.

6 – True crime documentaries are my favourite thing to watch

I don’t know what it is about true crime documentaries but I find myself always wanting to watch more. Maybe it’s this fascination of wondering why people commit crime. I’m not too sure but I find them so interesting.

7 – I have started to use notion

At the time of writing this in May, I have been using notion for a couple of weeks and I have absolutely loved it. It has been extremely useful for me to the point where I’ll be using it for university writing and pre-reading tracking.

8 – I have lived in North Wales for nearly 3 years now

This is rather insane to think about. It feels like it’s gone by so quickly but at the same time, it feels like I’ve been here forever. I couldn’t be more settled where I am.

9 – My favourite book genre is thriller

If you were to look at my library on my kindle, 90% of the books will be a thriller of some kind. I love reading psychological thrillers with lots of twists and turns. If anyone has any recommendations, feel free to let me know!

10 – I have used the bullet journal system for over 5 years now

I started using my Bullet Journal in February 2017 and I have never looked back. There have been instances where I’ve started to drift away but I always end up finding a way back. I certainly wouldn’t be without it.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post.
