Welcome to another blog post. Today’s post is going to be a review of a notebook that I was kindly gifted earlier this year. This is the Perfectly Penned Fabric Luxe Dotted Notebook. You can get this notebook from their website, along with some other beautiful colours. Without further ado, let’s get to it.

Who are Perfectly Penned?
Perfectly Penned are a family run business from the United Kingdom. Their aim is to make quality stationery at great prices, which I believe is very true. They offer various notebooks with dotted or lined paper, and as mentioned previously, they come in some lovely colours. I will be focusing on the Perfectly Penned Fabric Luxe Bee Notebook for this review.
Quality of the notebook
The cover of the notebook is made of fabric, and feels of really lovely quality. It doesn’t feel like it’s going to tear away and I haven’t noticed any wear in the months I’ve been using it. I use it every day so this is very impressive to me. It’s a gorgeous mustard yellow colour which is one of my favourite colours. The design of the bee embossed on the cover in gold is also stunning, and this hasn’t worn away either.
The paper in the notebook is 150gsm, meaning it is very thick and comparable to sketching paper. There is a pen test page within the notebook, and you can see the results in the pictures below.
As you can see, the pen test performed really well. There is the tiniest bit of ghosting but it’s not noticeable to the point of being distracting which is good.
In terms of the paper itself, I would say it’s an off white colour. It’s not pure white, but it’s also not cream either. I think ivory is possibly a good way of describing it. The dots are not too dark and are fairly small, which I really like but it all depends on everyone’s preferences with that. The paper is a dream to write on as well. It’s really smooth but it also has that bit of grit or texture.

One thing I really like about this notebook is that it is packed full of lovely features which I will go through now.

- 2 ribbon bookmarks – you can see in the picture below
Overall, I think this is a wonderful notebook, especially for the price. It’s wonderful to see a notebook packed full of features for such a good and affordable price. The quality is also outstanding which I really like. I would definitely recommend this notebook to you all.
