Welcome to a slightly different blog post from me. Today’s post is going to be about my 5 favourite roller coasters in the UK. I am someone who loves roller coasters, and I am desperate to go to more places not just in the UK, but around the world trying new roller coasters. Anyway, let’s get to it!

Nemesis – Alton Towers
Nemesis is an inverted roller coaster manufactured by B&M in 1994. It is probably my favourite roller coaster in the UK for its intensity. I really like how because of the height limitations Alton Towers has, they used the terrain to their advantage and that really adds to the experience.
The Swarm – Thorpe Park
The Swarm is a wing coaster manufactured by B&M in 2012. Despite it being a relatively short ride, it packs some really fun elements into it. I also really like the theming of the ride, and the near misses throughout.
Stealth – Thorpe Park
Stealth is a launched coaster manufactured by Intamin in 2006. It is the fastest roller coaster in the UK at 80mph. This is a very short ride, but the power and intensity of the launch is incredible.
The Odyssey – Fantasy Island
The Odyssey is a suspended looping coaster manufactured by Vekoma in 2002. SLCs are notorious for being one of the roughest roller coaster models out there, and to be fair, this ride is no exception. However, the sheer scale of it is insane and the first drop is wonderful.
Saw – The Ride – Thorpe Park
Saw – The Ride is a euro-fighter rollercoaster manufactured by Gerstlauer in 2009. This is also quite a rough ride but I still find it very enjoyable. As someone who is a big horror fan, I love the theming for this ride.
And that’s it! Thank you for reading and I will see you tomorrow for another blog post.
