Welcome to another blog post. In this post, I’m going to be talking about books. Thriller is my favourite genre of books and so I thought I would share some of my favourites with you. I always like a good mystery in a book or something with a good twist. Without further ado, let’s get to it!
The Chalk Man by CJ Tudor
This book focuses on Eddie, and his life in 1986 and 2016. In 1986, Eddie and his friends use little chalk figures as sort of a secret code. However, one of the chalk figures leads them to a body, and nothing is ever the same. 30 years later, Eddie receives a chalk figure in the mail, and soon discovers that his friends have each received one too.
Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney
This book is about a couple, Adam and Amelia, who have not been happy in their marriage recently. They win a weekend away in Scotland, which they both know will either make or break their marriage. However, one of them is lying, and it is an extremely big lie…
The Guest List by Lucy Foley
This book takes place on an island that is just off the coast of Ireland. A wedding is due to happen and guests have arrived. However, things soon start to go a little bit wrong, and a body is soon discovered.
The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley
In this book, a group of friends go on a New Year trip to Scotland at a remote estate. On New Year’s Day though, one of them is found dead.
Home Before Dark by Riley Sager
In this book, Maggie returns to the house that was made famous by her father’s bestselling horror memoir. Is the place really haunted by evil forces, as her father claimed?
And that’s it! Of course, there are a lot more books that I could have included on this list. Let me know what your favourite thriller books are.
Thank you for reading.
Beth
