8 Self-Care Ideas I want to Try in the Next Few Months

Self-care is an extremely important part of your life. Taking part in any self-care activities can help you feel at peace, to relax, to cope with stress and allow you to be more productive. I’m always looking for different ways to have some self-care time in my life, so here are 8 ideas I want to try!

1 ) Listen to more podcasts

I only listen to a couple of podcasts regularly. However, I know of many people that listen to productivity, self-care, and self-improvement like podcasts. I also want to broaden my horizons and listen to other topics too!

2 ) Spend some time decluttering

As much as I don’t want to admit it, there are plenty of areas in my life where I can declutter. I’m particularly thinking clothes, makeup and stationery.

3) Do a manicure and pedicure

Indulging in some treats always feels good. I feel like actually going somewhere to get these done feels even better.

4) Regularly do yoga

I do yoga occasionally at the moment anyway but I’d love to get into a regular habit and maybe do a yoga challenge.

5) Practice watercoloring

I got a watercolour set for Christmas and I am desperate to improve my skills as much as possible.

6) Get a weighted blanket

I have wanted a weighted blanket for the longest time now. I know that they are pretty good when it comes to helping with anxiety and mental health. I also need it at the moment with how cold it has been.

7) Have some social media detox

I am someone that is an absolute nightmare for spending too much time on social media. I think taking a break would be very beneficial, particularly as I’m someone who always seeks out negativity. I know that sounds weird but if I see an argument developing, I’ll follow along which always makes me feel meh.

8) Treat myself to new things

I have my eye on a few things that I would love to treat myself to soon! At the time of writing, I have a tattoo booked in just under a week which I am excited for.

And that’s it! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post and I will see you next week for another one!
