A couple of years ago, I shared a morning routine with you all. I wanted to provide an updated version as I feel like some things have changed slightly since then. Let’s get to it.

I always make sure to wake up with a sensible amount of time to get ready. I don’t like rushing in the mornings and I always like to have time to just chill in bed.
When I wake up, I will always check the news. I like to keep informed about what’s going on in the world. I’ll have a quick read of the headlines on different apps, and then I’ll get straight in the shower.
Once I’ve got out of the shower, I will then get dressed. I always make sure to listen to a podcast of some sorts whilst I’m getting ready. I particularly like to listen to some form of news podcast. For example, the FT News Briefing is my favourite to get a quick overview of commercial news. I think it’s important for me and my future career that I stay up to date with what’s going on.
Once I’ve finished getting ready, including my makeup and skincare, I will then go downstairs and have some breakfast. This is something I’m trying really hard to implement into my routine. I find that I am not that hungry in the mornings but I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Of course, I will always have a cup of tea too.
