Blogmas Day 2: My Everyday Makeup Routine

Welcome to day 2 of blogmas! I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s post and be sure to check it out if you haven’t seen it yet!

In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing my everyday makeup routine. This is what I do on days when I want to wear makeup and I’m going out and about. It’s simple and straightforward to do, but there’s enough going on that it’s noticeable and fun. Let’s get to it!

Products Used

Step by Step

Firstly, this is me without makeup. I had already done my morning skincare routine before I took this photo. Let me know if you would like to see a blog post about my skincare routine!

Base Makeup

Firstly, I always start with base makeup. I started with my primer, and simply blended that in with my fingers. I then went in with my tinted moisturiser and again blended that with my fingers. As it’s a tinted moisturiser, I can blend this in with my fingers. If I was going to use foundation, I would use a beauty blender.

I then moved on to concealer, and I put that under my eyes and blended it out with a beauty blender. My skin has actually improved recently, so I didn’t need to add much concealer. I then set everything with face powder, and I paid particular attention to my eyes as I tend to crease easily around there.

So, that’s what my faced looked like after those 4 steps!

Next, I moved on to my eyebrows. I am someone that likes the natural look and I also dye my eyebrows so I don’t need to do too much to them. I just added tinted brow gel to fill in any gaps and give them some shape.

Next, I added some bronzer. I don’t use contour very often, so I used bronzer to not only add colour, but also contour in areas that I need it. I then added blush to my cheeks and a little bit on my nose. Finally, I added some highlighter and that is my base makeup completed! Here is how it looked!

Eyes and Lips

For my eyes, on a daily basis I will just put on mascara. I do like a lot of volume though so I added a few layers. I put mascara on my upper and lower lashes but sometimes I will just put mascara on my upper lashes when I don’t want that dramatic of a look.

I am someone that loves a lip liner and lip gloss combo. I added some lip liner, making sure that I over lined my lips as I like that look. I then added the lip gloss to complete my lips!

The final step is to add some setting spray!

Here’s how my makeup looked all done! I love this natural look, and it’s perfect for an every day look!

And that’s it! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post and I will see you tomorrow for another one!
