Blogmas 2025: My Skincare Routine

Welcome to another blogmas post! I hope life is treating you well. Today’s post is going to be about my skincare routine.

I have a somewhat complicated relationship with skincare. I’ve been trying very hard to develop a routine that is sustainable and works well for me. Over the years, I have tried many products and I feel somewhat settled with the routine I have. Without further ado, let’s get to it!

The first thing I do is use the CeraVe hydrating cleanser. This is something that I use morning and night and I have noticed a massive difference since introducing this to my routine a few months ago. I keep this in the bathroom so I don’t have a picture unfortunately but know that this is part of my routine.

Next, I use an enzyme scrub. This is a step that happens a couple of times a week. My skin can get quite dry and flaky so I only tend to use this as and when I use it. I’m currently using the yo glow enzyme scrub but I’m not sure if you can get it anymore.

Next, I use a toner. This is something that I use morning and night which works well for me! The one I’ve started to use is from Revolution, the Revolution Skin Glaze Daze Ceramide Soothing Milky Toner and I absolutely love it.

Next, I moisturise. Like I said, I have really dry skin so I like to use a really heavy-duty moisturiser. I use one from Nivea which has worked wonders. Again, I do this step morning and night but will also top up occasionally as and when I need it.

The next step is something I only do in the evenings and that’s use a serum. Using a serum really helps to make my skin feel soft and nourished. I still haven’t found the perfect one yet though so please feel free to leave your recommendations in the comments!

This step is something I do in the mornings and that’s use an SPF cream. I’m using the one from Beauty Bay currently and it’s been working really well. My friend Ash encouraged me to start using SPF and I haven’t looked back since!

Another step that Ash encouraged me to use is a lash serum. She recommended one from the Ordinary and the difference this has made to my lashes is astonishing. I would really recommend adding this step to your skincare routine.

Finally, I use a lip balm. I use vaseline morning and night and I have one in my bag for when I’m out and about. I do need to invest in a good lip scrub though as I think that will help my lips even more.

And that’s it! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post and I will see you tomorrow for another one!

Beth
