Blogmas 2025: All of My Current Journals (There’s Quite a Few)

Welcome to another blogmas post!

In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing all of my current journals and how I use them. I will be honest, I have way too many. Do I care though? No. This is a hobby of mine and it makes me very happy. All of these journals have a purpose and I wanted to share that with you all today. Perhaps you have some empty notebooks lying around that you don’t know how to use.

I hope this is helpful for you and let’s get to it!

Sketchbook

This is a Moleskine Sketchbook that I use to practice my zen doodle skills. I use this journal every day as I absolutely adore drawing and spending time with myself. It’s such a calming activity!

Blog Journal

This is an A5 grid notebook that I got from Amazon (they don’t do it anymore but there are similar ones). I use this as my blog journal, which is where I plan every single post. Yes, I even planned this post in there. Spooky, eh?

Creative Life Journal

This is an A5 notebook from Stationery Island. I use this notebook as my creative life journal. This is where I use all sorts of different stationery. I’ve done some collaging in there, painting etc. I use this journal to create spreads about any 5 star things I’ve watched and read, any thoughts on my mind and document the stats from each month about what I’ve been reading and writing. I don’t use this notebook every day which is why it’s going strong after starting it in January 2024 but I do love it.

Horror Journal

This is a notebook that one of my work friends got me from a charity shop in our town. As it’s themed to The Shining. I decided to use this notebook to document every horror film I’ve watched. I give a brief synopsis, a rating, specific genre and my brief thoughts about it. I am slowly catching up with this as I’ve watched quite a few horror films.

Daily Journal

This is a very chunky A5 Leuchtturm 1917 Lined notebook that I use as my daily journal. I write in this every day about how my day has been, adding different collage elements to spice things up a bit. I have been doing this every day since the beginning of 2020 and I always look forward to writing in this every evening!

Practice Journal

This is a plain A5 notebook from Amazon. I use this notebook as a practice journal. I’ll practice lettering styles, different layouts for spreads and I’ll also use this notebook to create any spreads that I’m talking about for my blog.

Bullet Journal

This is a notebook from Archer & Olive that I use as my Bullet Journal. I use my bullet journal every day and I adore having this system in my life.

Memory Journal

This is a notebook from Moleskine. I believe it’s the Bullet Notebook but I honestly can’t remember. It looks similar so let’s go with that. I use this as a memory journal, documenting places I’ve been and events that have happened.

Media Journal

This is a Leuchtturm 1917 A5 square grid notebook that I use as a media journal. This is where I track and write about everything I have watched and read. I would like to separate this out eventually into a reading journal and a film and tv journal but for now, they are all together.

And that’s it! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post and I will see you tomorrow for another one!

Beth
