Welcome to the penultimate blogmas post!
In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing how I make a hot chocolate with you all! I’ll be using my coffee machine as that has a steam arm. However, you do not need to do it this way. You can heat the milk up however you want to. I just like doing it this way because why not?

You Will Need
This is what I suggest you use:
- Chocolate powder of your choice (I’m using White Chocolate)
- Milk of choice
- A festive mug
- Milk jug
- Steam arm (or something to heat your milk up)
The following are optional things to include
- Squirty cream of choice
- Chocolate sprinkles
- A Flake
- Marshmallows (I’m not including these in mine)

The first thing I like to do is measure out how much milk I need by pouring it into my mug. This means I’m not wasting any. I then add this to my milk jug.

Next, it’s time to get the chocolate. I added 3 scoops to my milk but it all depends on how chocolatey you want yours to be. Looking back, I would have added an extra scoop as it wasn’t quite the level of chocolate I wanted.

The next step is preparing the steam arm. You want to purge this for a little bit. Not only does this bring out excess water, it also brings out any dry milk that may have been left over. I do this a couple of times and then it’s time to start steaming the milk.

There’s no technique involved with this if I’m being completely honest. You just want to make sure that the chocolate powder is blended in with the milk. I don’t want to create latte art so I’m not necessarily looking for that whirlpool effect.

Once the milk is to your desired temperature, it’s time to add it to your mug. If you’re adding all of the extras on top, make sure there’s enough room for them! Been there, done that.

And this is the final result! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post and I will see you tomorrow for the final blogmas post!
