In recent years, my love for reading has grown. I’ve taken part in reading challenges and even had a reading journal. Immersing myself in a new world through a book is something I truly cherish.
As my passion for reading has grown, I’ve made it a point to set goals to keep me on track and maintain my enthusiasm for reading. I love setting goals for every aspect of my life, as they allow for improvement. Naturally, I’ve set goals for my reading habits as well. Today, I want to share some of my goals with you all. Let’s get to it!

Read 50 books in 2024
Like I mentioned before, I have taken part in reading challenges before, particularly on Goodreads. I have set challenges like reading 20 books, 30 books, and 40 books so it only seemed natural to go up to 50 books.
Read more non-fiction books
Back when I first got into reading, I used to read a lot of non-fiction books. I particularly liked reading books to do with law and politics, and I want to get back into that again.
Try audio books for the very first time
I have never tried audio books before. If I’m being honest, they haven’t appealed to me until now. However, I have grown to really like podcasts, so I figured it’s about time I try and listen to an audio book.
Read at least 1 chapter every day
Is this feasible? Of course not. There are many things that could get in the way but it is something I would like to aim for where possible.
And that’s it! Do you have any reading goals? Be sure to share them in the comments! As always, thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this post and I will see you soon for another one!
Beth

I’ve also never listened to an audio book but it’s definitely something I’ve been meaning to try for a long time.
