Hi friends! I hope you’re all well! In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing my first impressions of a notebook that I received. I am thrilled to say that I am a brand ambassador for TieFossi, a stationery brand. They sent me this gorgeous notebook to try which I plan to use as my next media journal! I’ll be sharing my first impressions of the notebook and in the future, I’ll do a full review!
Before I get into this post properly, I do want to put out a disclaimer. Although this notebook has been gifted to me, TieFossi are not aware that I’m making this post. Everything I say is my opinion and my opinion only. I’m not being paid to say anything positive. This is just what I truly think.
With all that being said, let’s get to it!
Who are TieFossi?
TieFossi are a stationery brand that specialises in creating wonderful notebooks. They were founded in 2018 and not only sell notebooks but also pens, scrapbook papers, stamps, stickers and washi tape.
They have an array of absolutely wonderful and beautiful notebooks, as well as planners and lots of other stationery items!
With all that being said, let’s get to the notebook itself!
The Notebook
This is what the notebook looks like. Isn’t it the most gorgeous thing in the world? This is the A5 Gold Vintage Notebook in Emerald Green. I absolutely love the cover and the detail with the embossing. It’s so aesthetically pleasing! The cover itself feels absolutely gorgeous too. It’s wonderful which I love.
This notebook costs £21 which I think is an absolute steal. This is for the dotted notebook which brings me on to say that this notebook comes in lined and dot grid pages. The lined notebook is £16. These prices are so so good for the quality. Honestly, you would find other notebooks of the same quality being around £30-40. I find that wonderful.
I’ll go through the features of the notebook next.
Like I have mentioned already, this is an A5 sized notebook with dot grid pages. These are 160gsm, meaning they are very thick and lovely to use a variety of mediums on. Of course, I don’t know that for certain as this is my first impression of the notebook. However, going on what other 160gsm notebooks are like, I’m sure it’s the same for this one!
A big bonus to this notebook is that the pages are numbered. It’s quite often that you will see notebooks that are not numbered which is fine. Like I said, I consider this to be a bonus.
Other features of the notebook include an inner back pocket, an elasticated closure, a pen holder, and 2 ribbon bookmarks. These are standard features that I’ve seen on other notebooks but I thought it was worth noting anyway.
Overall Thoughts
Overall, I am so so excited to use this notebook! I can’t wait to see how it works for me as my new media journal. I look forward to sharing that with you soon!
The notebook is absolutely stunning and the pages feel truly lovely. I can’t comment on how they will be with different mediums but I will definitely let you know in the future!
